At Sennheiser, they aim to shape the future of audio by creating unique sound experiences for their customers. The world of audio can offer new ways of listening, impressive sound experiences and magical moments: at Sennheiser, they aim to excel at shaping such experiences every day. Since the company was founded over 75 years ago, they have become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of headphones, speakers, microphones and wireless transmission systems.

And they wanted to introduce this to their (potential) target group in an interactive way They asked SUPERMINDS to come up with a creative campaign to specifically promote one of their headsets: the MB660. The campaign had to be 100% measurable and create a viral effect. We devised a social media campaign in the form of gamification. An online game where you have to test your listening and viewing skills to win your own MB660 headset with active noise cancellation. We built a secure application compatible with Facebook. To play the game, all you had to do was give permission with your Facebook profile. By doing so, you also consented to being e-mailed once by Sennheiser. If you wanted to play the game again afterwards, all you had to do was share the game on your own timeline so your friends could also have a chance to win it. Result: the game was played over 9,800 times and had an unprecedented unique reach of over 213,000 people. Eventually the game was released in 9 different countries in a social gamification campaign.
